Tulsa zoo to feature creationism display

Oh good grief.......

The Tulsa Zoo will add a display featuring the biblical account of creation
following complaints to a city board about other displays with religious
significance, including a Hindu elephant statue.

Why oh why didn't I take the opportunity to get my family out of this
state when I was a young female with a hot portfolio????

The CNN story cites Mayor Lafortune as supportive of the display.
Seems like there has always been a Lafortune who was mayor of Tulsa.
I've heard of them all my life, but don't know much about them.

BL: Well, I have never forgotten what he said. The Lord has blessed me in
so many ways. I was birthed into a wonderful loving and caring family, which has
taught me that loving and caring for others is so critical. And it also provides
a great base of faith for my life. And I stand by my faith and my testimony.

JR: You are standing up for it now.

BL: Yes. It is sort of like our President whom I have so much respect
for. He has stood very strong for his personal faith. He is looking to break
down on this separation of church and state principle. I would echo him in that
regard.........
